Where to find your estimated annual consumption
Your estimated annual consumption, usually measured in kilowatt-hours (kWh), is typically found on the first or second page of your electricity bill, often near the tariff name or in a “Your Tariff” summary section. It represents the energy the industry estimates your property will use over 12 months based on previous usage.
Key Locations: Look for “Estimated Annual Consumption” “Estimated Annual Usage” or a table detailing your tariff info.
Alternative Source: If not clearly labelled on the bill, log in to your supplier’s online account or app and check the “Usage” section.
What to look for: The figure is shown as kWh (Kilowatt-hours).
If you cannot find this on your bill, it might be listed on an annual statement, which shows your total usage and spend over the past year.
